Witches of Vancouver

“Witches of Vancouver: Coming out of the Broom Closet” is a photo-documentary series explored through interviews and portraits. Twelve Vancouver based self-identified Witches speak candidly about their paths, and what it was like to come out of the ‘broom closet’ in a society that still often shudders at the word, “Witch”.

The photo exhibit showcased from October - January, 2019 at Liquid Amber Tattoo & Art Collective in Vancouver, BC.

Inspired by the photo series, Witches of Vancouver: Coming Out of the Broom Closet is now taking the shape of a documentary filmed and directed by Luvia Petersen and Derek Langer.
